Signature Truck Systems, LLC is a national leader in the manufacture of propane distribution trucks, including bobtails, cranes, cylinder, transport and service trucks, as well as servicing the trucks and selling parts. We are looking to fill a full-time hybrid CAD/Fabricator position.
This entry-level Cad Technician position is responsible for creating and updating models and drawings utilizing Autodesk Inventor. This includes creating a model utilizing basic techniques and be able to update as needs require. Update properties of parts with description, category, part number, etc. Assist in creating and updating Lead in / Lead out and burn files as well as creating updating nesting layouts. In addition, when the CAD needs slow down, the ideal candidate will also be able to fill in out on the floor of the Fabrication Shop and assist with cutting, grinding, etc.
Education/Experience: (Updated)
Must have a minimum of: 2 years of High School level 3d CAD classes OR completed College level 3d CAD classes OR 1 year of experience in 3d CAD OR some type of verifiable experience creating 3D CAD models and assemblies preferably utilizing Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks.
