The work schedule goes from Monday to Thursday, 4h30pm to 2h30am, for a total of 40 hours a week. Each work shift includes a paid, ½ lunch break.
WAGE
$17.96 to $21.95
YOUR ROLE
The incumbent of the position mounts ferrules, then moves them onto conveyor belts and towards the appropriate tank mounting template. He/she will position ferrules and tighten them using the hydraulic system.
DAILY TASKS
- Move ferrules in the appropriate mounting template
- Position ferrules
- Tighten ferrules using the template’s hydraulic cylinders
- Clean the welded parts using a mechanized wire brush
- Position heads within the template using a bridge crane or hoist
- Activate magnets to hold the heads in place
- Activate the hydraulic mounting system and look out for any abnormality during mounting process
- Point tank to indicated station (GMAW)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma (D.E.S) – an asset
- Bilingual – an asset
- Forklift Driving certificate
- Bridge crane training card
- Ability to lift and move weights up to 25kg
- Can move and bend frequently, and stand up for long periods of time
- Ability to follow clear instructions
- Great listening skills
- Ability to work with short delays
