Urgently Hiring! Production Technicians will work on a chassis and build it from the ground up according to the customer’s specifications. Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and basic welding skills a must. This position is responsible for adding tanks onto a completed chassis. This includes welding tie plates, adding decks, deck boxes, hose reels, hydraulic lines, some electrical. This position also refurbishes tanks and other material to be used again on a chassis. Refurbishing involves grinding (inside and outside of tank), welding, and other miscellaneous tasks. No engine work is performed here.
- First shift – 6 am start, Full Time, M-F
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Up Fit, maintenance and repair of heavy duty trucks and tanks
- Operate Fork Lift, telehandler, and overhead crane (will certify)
- Welding skills
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, crawl under vehicles, stand for long periods of time, strength to operate machinery and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
Skills & Experience:
- Experience working on heavy duty trucks (bobtail, construction, military, agricultural, etc.)
- Automotive electrical, welding, and mechanical experience required
- Must have own toolbox and basic tools
- Able to operate small hand tools, cutting torches
- Able to work independently and with a teammate
- Strong problem solving and documentation skills
- Must be on time for shift and consistent with attendance
